2 . Better balancing the difficulty levels

Back 4 Blood offers for the launch 3 difficulty levels that differ in their claim. While veteran offers a really solid challenge that already needs good coordination, nightmare is just something for real masochists who want to proceed plan and tactically and have a lot of time for each little action.

The simplest level of difficulty survivor, however, is a bad joke. On this level, the game is so simple that you do not have to do anything else than holding down the left mouse button. Joy does not come up and even if the bursting of zombie heads, of course, brings a certain basic satisfaction with him, that is not enough to really eat.

Better balancing between the levels of difficulty or a few more gradations could improve the game fun for all long term.

3 . Fine tuning of the Ai Directors

Even if the Ai Director with his corruption cards, which are quasi affixes for the run, has already many cool opportunities to make the run more difficult or easier to make a little fine tuning.

In the beta, it often did not feel like the AI ​​Director reacts really dynamically.

So it often happened that the whole team was extinguished in the course of a mission and with a Continue the card had to play again. Why the AI-Director then thought it makes sense to implement even less prey and less bonus spaces, but to increase the number of snitch zombies is simply questionable - because the second and third pass was the failure too sentenced.

Fine adjustment of the AI ​​director could clearly help here so that the Runs continue to remain sophisticated, without being disadvantaged or simplifying unfair situations.

4 . Clear words about the DLCs

A big unknown to back 4 Blood are still the upcoming DLCs. Because there is a Season Pass, which should bring new content again and again at least in the first year. These are new missions, but also new special zombies with new features and skills.

Especially questionable: Even now is not known yet which content will be included in Back 4 Blood.

Thus, in an earlier trailer, the zombie variants Breaker (a faster, strong carpenter) and HAG (a huge zombie, the survivor on the whole piece of freeze) were presented. This is content that was already shown in a trailer in May but not to discover in the game. The corresponding trailer can be seen on YouTube, the special zombies you can see from the minute 2:18.

Here the question arises as to whether these content in the launch version will be available, or whether the content that will only come with the DLCs. If that's the case, that would possibly also be an indication that finished content from the start-up version would be tacked out - something that had often accused Evolve (also by Turtlerock Studios).

There are still too many unknown points to content and DLCs. More clarity is urgently needed here.

5 . Fixing the PVP mode

The last point is at the same time one of the most important, but also probably unrealistic: the PVP. The swarm PVP mode was already extremely unpopular in the beta and disappointed many fans of LEFT 4 Dead, which had liked a similar campaign versus mode. We too have criticized the Mode Harsch.

In Left 4 Dead was a heart of the game and was loved by many. That this mode does not exist in back 4 blood and all almost on a defend the point until you are overrunning go out, many do not taste.
