Third German Wheel Medal: Riedmann gets WM
On the course in the Belgian lion, after 75 kilometers, only Zoe Backstedt from Great Britain and the American Kaia Schmid had to be beaten. Backstedt and Schmid came with a lead of 57 seconds to the finish, Riedmann won the sprint of a group behind it. Previously, Junior Antonia Niedermaier (bronze in single time trial) and the time-flip-mixed (gold) precious metal for Germany had brought.
Only two weeks ago Riedmann had won the gold medal in the U-19 street race at the European Italian Trento.
