So that you will not be overrun directly from the zombie hordes in the beta, we have some useful tips and tricks, with whom you get along well on your first campaigns.
1. Uses different weapons types in the group
Back 4 Blood has a pretty small selection of weapons and sharing all 4 ammunition types. Since ammunition is limited and rarely gets new new new ones in the course of a level, you have to deal economically with your ammunition.
But that also means that you should use 2 weapons that use different ammunition. If you have about your Uzi empty, then it's good to have a pistol in the hindquarters. If your second weapon is a melee weapon, it is of course eliminated.
The same applies by the way over the whole team distributed. It's good if all players use different weapons to prevent munitons deficiency. If all players only use assault rifles, no balls are likely to be left at the latest from half of the card.
Also pay attention to the announcements of your team colleagues. The different characters have special voice lines they play when they have only less than 2 magazines for their current weapon. In the case, you can easily open your overview window (tab on the PC) and click the different ammunition types. Your shipyard then off this ammunition, so other players can pick them up. Mark your ammunition shoe with the ping system so nothing is overlooked.
2 . Friendly Fire can be deadly
At the lowest difficulty, this is not a problem yet, but from the stage Veteran Friendly Fire is a real danger. Make sure that you do not meet your teammates, because that can quickly rob them of their lifestyles, which makes the whole group fail at the end.
But also belongs that you do not run in front of the flint to the other players. Pay attention to the position of your team colleagues and - if you are at the forefront - ducks you, so your players can shoot over your head on the zombies.
3 . Uses the ping system
Back 4 Blood has a pretty simple ping system that allows you to highlight certain things in the world for all. You find a strong weapon, see a special zombie in the distance or a medi station? Just mark it with a touch of a button (default: Q). The corresponding object is already displayed for all in the group and mostly described verbally from your character.
4 . Remains together - and always
For old Left 4 Dead veterans that is an old hat, but newcomers have to learn. Back 4 Blood is not a game in which a person can mark the big hero. Only as a team you will be successful. Anyone who considers themselves for the biggest zombie laughter under the sun, or explore themselves alone or exploring themselves alone, which will soon or later be surprised by a special zombie. Whether sleeper, stool or tallboy - many zombies have a special attack, with which they hold a surviving alone in an infinitely long and kill.
5 . Melee is your best friend
Melee attacks can be immensely effective if you either have a strong melee weapon (such as the big ax), or the combat knife card has equipped. Most normal zombies die with a single attack.
Particularly important is that a melee attack in Back 4 Blood does not stop reloading your weapon - it is only paused for short and then continues at the same place of animation.
If you have no melee weapon, then your zombies can at least move away to buy a few valuable seconds.
6 . Copper is a team resource, use it as well
Copper is the currency in the game with which you can shop in Safe Rooms and on Medi Stations. Although each player has its own stock of copper, but you should look at the whole thing like a team resource.
This is especially important for the different upgrades that apply to the whole team. The cost mostly 1,500 copper, which has a single player. Best all together, so that all benefit from the bonuses.
You can also just place copper - just like ammunition - just on the ground, so other players can pick it up. Uses this to equip your whole team.
Incidentally, it is only very rare to save copper if you are not fully equipped. Each purchased Molotov and each pack of pills could save your life or the your team. Copper, which you do not have scanned, simply no benefit for the team.
7 . Always have a tool kit
Make sure that at least one tool kit is present in the group on each card. Almost every time there is a locked bonus room or some sealed weapons boxes that can only be opened with a tool kit.
Especially the bonus room is always worth the opening. In mostly, you find copper there - more than the tool kit cost. There are also ammunition, often bonus cards or a medi station where you can heal for free or for 400 copper (depending on difficulty). This even fixes a part of the annoying trauma damage.
8th. Edits your deck as soon as you can
After your first games completed and new cards have unlocked over the Supply Lines in the game, you should edit your deck. That goes in Fort Hope and is quite simple.
But what is important to know: the order in which cards are arranged in your deck, also decides in which order you pull them in the game. So attaches important cards to the beginning so that you have them right at the beginning of a round.
9 . Pay attention to bonus missions
At the beginning of most missions, the AI Director plays so-called Corruption Cards that make the game harder. Some of them are challenges, such as a timeout or requirement to get to the goal with all cleaners alive. You should always try to master these challenges, as they are rewarded with 500 copper - seen on the whole team 2,000. This corresponds more than the cost of a team upgrade.

10 . Heals other players, if you can
Unlike in the original Left 4 Dead, it is possible in Back 4 Blood to provide other players with all healing objects. Whether that's a medi kit or pills - if you select another player, then you can impose the drugs and so heal. This is particularly useful if the other player has a strong weapon with which he holds the zombies from the neck. So the battered player can connect against it while connecting it.
