The Chinese version of Fortnite will be closed in a few weeks
It s no secret that China represents a huge part of the game market. The country has an absolutely massive population, which means it has a lot of portfolios. But China has also had a difficult relationship with video games in the past, setting up a variety of restrictions and regulations to follow by companies - in addition to having heavier restrictions on the media in general.
That this movement be linked to the Chinese version of Fortnite (called Fortress Night there) that closes its servers is not clear, but whatever the reason, the results remain: from 1 November, Players will no longer be able to create new accounts.. And 15 days later, the game as a whole will be offline.

This version of the game was apparently quite different from its international counterparts: all the images of the skull were cut off, the game lacked micro-transactions and, after a while, encouraged the players to let go and go to study. It only makes the surface of all the adjustments that this version of Fortnite has suffered, but it should be enough to tell you that Fortress Night was a very different experience - an experience that will no longer be available in the near future.
The game also featured a wide range of exclusive objects that, after stopping the game, will no longer be available whatever the version of your choice. Many players have requested that these objects are moved to the traditional strong platform, and considering their quality (this flashing penguin backpack looks particularly cool), it is difficult to blame them. A user (in this twitter thread bound above) commented that doing this would be able to loot a corpse, which... yeah, a little. Hard to say if it s on the theme of Fortnite or bad taste, but it s still funny.
